Speculative SHORT · Entry: R33.26, on rejection at the 200 SMA · Stop R34.91 · Target R29.21 · Reward/Risk ratio 2.5:1
The setup: Price has rallied from the early-October low of about R28.50 and is now pressing into the declining 200 SMA, where the last two sessions have stalled. The MACD has rolled over from its early-October peak and flattened onto the signal line, so upside momentum is fading as price reaches resistance. A daily close back below the 200 SMA opens the way to the R29.21 target, which sits at the start of the recent rally. A daily close clearly above the SMA invalidates the idea.

BID — Bid Corporation Ltd.
Bid Corporation is a global foodservice distributor operating the Bidfood businesses across several regions.
Speculative SHORT · Entry: R458.03 · Stop R469.01 · Target R434.25 · Reward/Risk ratio 2.2:1
The setup: Price has been rising inside a well-defined ascending channel and is now approaching the upper boundary for the third time. The RSI is touching 70 for the second time, matching the overbought reading that marked the early-September channel top. And the latest candle is red, the first sign of selling at resistance. The channel projects a move back toward the lower boundary, and the R434.25 target sits above that line.

CFR — Compagnie Financière Richemont SA
Richemont is a Swiss luxury goods group whose brands include Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels and IWC, with a primary listing in Zurich and a secondary listing on the JSE.
Potential LONG · Entry: R3 531.25, only on a confirmed daily close above the wedge resistance · Stop R3 260.69 · Target R4 087.52 · Reward/Risk ratio 2.1:1
The setup: Price has formed a falling wedge, with a falling upper trendline and a flat lower boundary, and has bounced off support twice while holding the 200 SMA. RSI shows bullish divergence: price made a similar low to the one in September in mid-October, while the RSI made a clearly higher low. Price has pushed through the upper trendline once and is now pulling back to test it, closing at R3 466.72, below the entry. A long is only valid on a close above R3 531.25; until then this remains off the table. The R4 087.52 target is the measured move of the wedge.

Consumer Discretionary
AMZN — Amazon.com, Inc.
Amazon is a global e-commerce and cloud computing company, operating Amazon Web Services.
Potential LONG · Entry: $262.16 · Stop $252.23 · Target $277.19 · Reward/Risk ratio 1.5:1
The setup: A double bottom has formed at around $244, and Monday's candle closed at $262.39, up 4.96% on the day, above the $259.51 neckline and above the 50 SMA. The 200 SMA is rising well below the price at about $243, so the larger trend is intact. Price broke above the neckline on 8 October, fell back into the pattern and has now reclaimed it, which gives the breakout a second attempt.

Information Technology
TER — Teradyne, Inc.
Teradyne makes automated test equipment for semiconductors, electronics and robotics.
Potential LONG · Entry: $342.69, with price reclaiming the 200 SMA · Stop $302.58 · Target $426.81 · Reward/Risk ratio 2.1:1
The setup: Price has bounced off the lower boundary of the ascending channel, and where it met the lower Bollinger Band. The 200 SMA sits just above at about $342 and is the first hurdle, so the entry is conditional on price holding above it. The MACD is still below zero, but the curve is turning up. The $426.81 target sits well inside the channel, below the upper boundary near $450. A close back below the channel support invalidates the idea.

Consumer Discretionary
W — Wayfair Inc.
Wayfair is an online retailer of furniture and home goods.
Potential LONG · Entry: $111.54 · Stop $103.85 · Target $124.04 · Reward/Risk ratio 1.6:1
The setup: A double bottom has formed with lows near $93 and $94, and price has closed above the $108.63 neckline, with Monday's close at $111.98. The 200 SMA is far below at about $88.50 and flat, so the pattern is a base building above it. Price is pressing against the upper Bollinger Band, and both of the last three candles have upper wicks, so a short pause or a pullback to the neckline is possible before the move continues. A close back below the neckline weakens the setup.
