Highlights

Under Highlights, expect to find market-moving news, updates from BROKSTOCK, and any new instruments that have been added. We update this section frequently, so it's your go-to for quick news on what's happening around the world.

Finance Ghost

BROKSTOCK has partnered with Finance Ghost to bring you in-depth, balanced analysis on individual stocks.

Recent articles have covered a diverse range of companies, from global tech giants like Microsoft to South African retailers such as Lewis Group and Pepkor. Each piece examines company performance, competitive positioning, and the broader macroeconomic factors that may influence outcomes — all while maintaining a balanced approach.

Markets Analysed

This section covers weekly analysis and earnings reports from both the JSE and the US markets. It gives you an overview of how the market will look for the week ahead and shows how companies have been performing quarterly or half-yearly.

Getting Started

This section is mostly for new investors who don't know where to start and don't fully trust the analysis they find in the app. It includes:

- Blue Chip Stocks – Companies that have been around and withstood market downturns

- Magnificent 7 – The biggest tech stocks

- Penny Stocks – Companies selling for less than $5 or 10 rand. An accessible entry point for smaller capital, though typically more volatile than larger stocks.

Under this section, you'll see dividends that will be paid for the week for both JSE and US stocks. They're grouped according to the amounts that will be paid.

Price Drop

Here you'll see companies that have dropped in price over the past 1 day, week, or month. This helps you spot which companies have been performing badly — and potentially identify opportunities.
