At BROKSTOCK, we believe that clarity and fairness are the foundations of a trustworthy trading and investment experience. That’s why we’ve built a straightforward fee structure with no hidden charges. This guide breaks down exactly how our trading commissions work, how you can benefit from our balance-based Package programme, and explains our fee policy on deposits and withdrawals.
The trading commission you pay is determined by your Package level, which is automatically assigned based on your account balance. Packages are not a subscription, investment product, promotion, or financial instrument. You do not need to pay for them, enrol in them, or make any separate purchases. Your Package level is automatically upgraded as your balance grows, and you start receiving lower commissions immediately.
This single trading fee is the only cost you incur for any trade — whether you’re trading shares on the JSE, US stocks, currencies, cryptocurrencies, or metals. There are no additional management fees, account maintenance fees, or any other hidden charges .
The higher your Package level, the lower your trading commission. Here’s a summary of the commission rates by Package level:
| Package Level | Balance Requirement | Trading Commission |
| Basic | R0 - R4 999 | 0.89% |
| Bronze | R5 000 - R19 999 | 0.49% |
| Silver | R20 000 - R49 999 | 0.46% |
| Gold | R50 000 - R299 999 | 0.42% |
| Platinum | R300 000 - R999 999 | 0.38% |
| Diamond | R1 000 000 or more | 0.35% |
This package system ensures that as your balance grows, you are rewarded with lower trading costs and more enhanced benefits. Learn more about Package benefits here.

When you hold a position overnight, a swap fee may apply. This is a standard industry practice that reflects the cost of maintaining your leveraged position beyond the trading day.
Important: Swaps only apply to accounts with margin trading mode enabled. They do not apply to Investment accounts. Here is how swaps work on the BROKSTOCK platform.
How Swaps Are Calculated
The swap rate is -7.5% per annum. This is the rate you will pay on your open positions. To understand the cost, consider this example:
If you open a contract worth R1 000, you will be charged a fee of R1 000 × 7.5% ÷ 365 for each day you hold this position. This amounts to approximately R0.21 per day for a R1 000 position.
The swap is calculated on a daily basis for each day the position remains open. However, the total accumulated swap amount is paid as a single charge when you close your position — not debited daily from your account balance.
BROKSTOCK's fee structure is designed with transparency and client growth in mind. You pay a trading commission that is directly linked to your Package level and automatically decreases as your balance grows — the higher your balance, the lower your commission rate. This trading fee applies to all asset classes, both when opening and closing positions.
For deposits, Capitec Pay and EFT deposits are commission-free, while bank card deposits carry a 1% transaction fee. Withdrawals are completely free of charge, with no fees whatsoever. There are no hidden management charges, no account maintenance fees, and no subscription costs for Packages.
With clear, straightforward pricing and no surprises, you can focus on what truly matters: building your wealth.
