Investment Diversification: Here's Why You Need Multiple Accounts | BROKSTOCK Tutorial

Hi everyone, and welcome back!

Today, we're looking at a feature on BROKSTOCK that many clients don't take full advantage of — the ability to open multiple accounts under one profile. This feature is available to clients on the Bronze level and above.

With BROKSTOCK, you can create up to five accounts, choosing between two types: the standard account and the margin trading account. You can also name each account whatever you like, making it easy to stay organised.

But why would you want more than one account? Here are the four key benefits:

1. Keep Your Strategies Separate

Most of us don't trade just one goal. Maybe you have a long-term position you want to leave alone, but you also like taking short-term trades. If everything sits in one account, it all gets mixed together. With separate accounts, each strategy lives in its own space — with its own balance and its own performance figures.

2. Control Your Risk

This is the big one. Imagine your margin trading account is designed for high-risk, short-term ideas. By keeping it in its own account, you decide exactly how much capital you're willing to put at risk. Your core holdings stay completely separate. Whatever happens in your margin account can't touch the funds in your other accounts.

3. Track Performance Clearly

Each account shows its own portfolio total, daily profit, and available funds. So instead of guessing whether your dividend positions or your crypto trades are doing the work, you can see it — at a glance, account by account.

4. Earn Interest on Idle Funds

If you have funds that aren't invested in anything under your investment account, you'll be earning interest from 8% up to 11%. Your money keeps growing — even when it's not in the market.

How It Works in the App

Setting up multiple accounts is simple. Just go to your portfolio page, click the dropdown, and you can view all your accounts — each with its own deposit, withdrawal, and history options.

Want to rename an account? Just go to settings, change the name, and save it. For example, you could have:

- A semiconductors account

- A cryptocurrency account

- A retirement account

With everything under one profile, you don't need to use any other app. You can manage all your investments the same way you would any other vehicle — but with the clarity and control that multiple accounts provide.
